Since 2012 Olusola Amusan has been Africa’s Regional Coordinator for the International office of YOUNG PROFESSIONALS in LOCAL DEVELOPMENT (www.ypld.org). Olusola’s entrepreneurship development history dates to nearly 8 years. In only 5years of full Social Entrepreneurship and Community development projects, Olusola has been commended by leading international organisations like Ashoka (www.ashoka.org) and the EO Network (www.eonetwork.org); he was in 2012 published by 5 National Daily Newspapers as one of the leading lights in youth advocacy. He has been profiled by the Compass Newspaper, The Nigerian Tribune, National Mirror and Business Day Newspaper among others. Consulting and managing several projects with both private and public sector organisations Olusola is building a career in Executive Leadership and Management Growth Consulting for individuals, Governments, NGOs, businesses and the International Community. He’s acknowledged as a Passionate ‘SocioPreneur’. His initiatives include Entrepreneurs Under25, 13HoursToBoardroom Boot camp, The Advancement Workshop, Rural School Makeover and The Executive Grooming School. He was credited by Nigeria’s leading technology school for training 2,500 people on the ICTs for free between 2009 and 2011.

Olusola is a recipient of several awards including the prestigious (Nigeria) National Champion for the Global student Entrepreneur awards and Africa’s Youngest Growth Consultant award for branding the Federal University of Technology Akure. He was in 2012 nominated for the Future Africa  Awards, rumored as Africa’s Nobel Prize for young people. Olusola was invited to the Ghanaian State House in 2012 for the African Entrepreneur Awards, alongside leading Nigeria business mogules, Nimi Akinkugbe and Audu Maikori of Chocolate City.

As a young change agent and professional, Olusola is receiving training from United States Institute of Peace, New York’s Cornell University Executive leadership programme, and has successfully completed training with the Project Management Professional Institute, Youngstars Foundation, Nigeria, IRI supported programmes, the U.S Consulate Lagos, Daystar Leadership Academy, Nigeria, and Youth Bridge Foundation Accra Ghana. In 2014, Olusola Chaired the AGRI and Food Security Committee at the first Euro African Youth Parliament in Berlin, Germany, over a 10 day period with delegates from 51 countries. He has a bachelor of Technology Degree with the Federal University of Technology, Akure.
